Supervising Producer, Digital & Social - Paramount Network & TV Land

This is a Full Time Job

We are looking for a detail-oriented Supervising Producer, Digital & Social (MUST HAVE STRONG DIGITAL & SOCIAL EXPERIENCE) to join the team and own the strategy and success of social for our high-profile television shows and networks, as well as develop original content and digital video for distributed digital platforms. Managing a team that controls select accounts across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and other platforms and deeply understand the audiences they attract and cultivate.

This role reports to the VP of Digital & Social and is for a highly-effective and strategic leader in the entertainment space.

Basic Qualifications

• 9 years of experience in digital and social media, preferably in the television, film, digital
video or entertainment industries.

Additional Qualifications

• Expertise in the inner-workings of the established social platforms, emerging networks and digital world at large
• Leadership experience, managing people directly as well as horizontal management and complex team navigation
• A producer’s eye, and the ability to create and repurpose content for multiple platforms
• Deep knowledge of audiences and the various types of content that they interact with daily
• Exceptional copywriting and communication skills with a focus on video production
• Experience working with talent, as well as social influencers
Collaboration in your DNA and an understanding of how social touches every aspect of the business
• Video production and on-set experience, specifically in scripted and unscripted television
• A sense of humor, a creative streak, and an attention to detail that never lets a typo or unoptimized upload slip by
• Managing the social media presence for multiple Paramount Network and TV Land shows and tentpole events
• Leading a team of staff and freelancers directly reporting to you
• Working toward shared goals (including engagement, video views and ratings) around the launches and airings of linear tv shows
• Developing and producing original digital and social content for Paramount Network, TV Land and the various franchises and shows
• Briefing and teaching talent about the world of social media and best practices for their own accounts and profiles
• Constantly iterating and incorporating audience feedback into new content and messaging
• Traveling to set and on-location when needed to create content, execute on social
integrations and meet with producers, talent and influencers
• Partnering with Creative, Consumer Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Research, Press and Development at Paramount Network, TV Land, Comedy Central and Viacom at large
• Swinging big and taking risks while learning from every success and misstep
