Description:
An assistant is needed to support the director of a high-profile animated theatrical feature. The candidate will work closely with production staff and manage scheduling, communication, and logistical support to ensure smooth operations throughout the project.
Responsibilities:
• Organize and manage the director and production’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
• Maintain production documents and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts in coordination with production management.
• Coordinate meetings with external vendors and the studio’s partner production company.
• Serve as a liaison between the director and other departments, facilitating communication professionally and efficiently with high-level studio and production executives.
• Plan and execute events for production and handle additional production tasks as needed.
• Gather resources and prepare materials for presentations and pitches.
• Answer phone calls, maintain contact lists, handle expense reports, and track invoices, shipments, and purchases.
Compensation:
• Minimum: $1,000 per 45-hour week ($21.06/hour)
• Maximum: $1,250 per 45-hour week ($26.32/hour)
• Weekly rates include one hour of daily overtime at time and a half.
