SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The Music Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks to provide support to the Agent(s) in client and internal matters. The position requires an understanding of the music industry and the ability to assess talent.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Enters offer, including detailed show and company information from the promoter/buyer
Maintain client(s) business contacts, riders, bios, ad mats and any specialized details for artist(s) show requirements. Provide to buyers as necessary.
Compile tour marketing plans for buyers
Interact with Accounting department to track money due to clients
Maintain and update company databases
Maintain call log and calendar for agent
Prepare expense reports and travel requisition forms
Maintain office filing as needed
Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle varied personalities and sensitive situations
Position requires demonstrated professionalism, tact and confidentiality
Work requires impeccable to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks, handle a heavy workload and meet deadlines
