Job Summary:
The Senior Coordinator, Digital Platform is responsible for all publishing activities, and therefore the final look & feel of the product itself to customers across web, mobile and media streaming devices/platforms, e.g. web, iOS, Android, Roku, tvOS, game consoles, etc. We require a deep knowledge of these platforms, digital content distribution and operations, coupled with a strong proficiency in digital products and technical distribution processes.
What you will do:
Maintain a publishing schedule based on ongoing communication with our content licensing and marketing teams
Plan and execute daily publishing activities (video, artwork collateral, meta) using one or more CMS tools
Meticulous QA of the published state of consumer-facing products/properties
Develop an empirical understanding of audience viewing behavior through media and customer analytics and use that knowledge to inform future publishing efforts
Keep properties up-to-date with current marketing messaging and branding
Assist with onboarding of new distribution partners into our publishing workflows
Coordinate project timing and tasks with program management and affiliate teams
Work with content partners to package and promote video content around channel priorities, seasonal opportunities, and trending topics
Work with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to test new partners, products and devices
Proactively anticipate and mitigate risks as they arise, and serve as a first responder for troubleshooting catalog and technical issues on partner sites; make sound, independent decisions and know when to escalate issues
Foster deep and productive relationships with external partners and juggle the changing day-to-day operational priorities of the partner accounts
Become a super-user of system tools and subject matter expert on our digital platforms\
Maintain high video and presentation standards for our partner sites, and rigorously police our platforms to ensure a superior user experience
What you will bring to us:
2 or more years experience working for a video-centric website or online publisher
Experience working with a digital asset management portal, such as iTunes Connect, Hulu Partner Portal, YouTube Channel Manager, or ThePlatform
Working knowledge of web analytics and social media metrics
A passion for technology and a user of digital media in their daily life
Requirements to be Successful:
Two (2) plus years of experience in digital media, post production, or asset management with an operational focus
Possess a deep technical understanding of digital video workflows, product technologies, and platforms
Two (2) plus years of experience scheduling and publishing digital media using a content management system (CMS), and a track record of independently troubleshooting and resolving issues
Deep understanding of iOS, Android, and Over-the-Top products and apps
Experience using Adobe Photoshop or similar for image editing and poster art
The ability to decipher technical data and issues by looking at XML and API code
A demonstrated understanding of video and image technical specs and the ability to communicate on the topic to varied groups
Experience managing projects cross-functionally
Previous experience working with internal Quality Assurance departments as well as familiarity with bug tracking systems such as JIRA
Demonstrated experience working independently as well as collectively, in situations with multiple or conflicting deadlines
