The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis is a key member of the FP&A team supporting Pantaya (SVOD business) and Pantelion (production entity). We are looking for someone with analytical mindset, advanced modeling abilities and attention to detail who can successfully balance competing priorities and drive projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision. The role is involved in the consolidation and analysis of quarterly forecasts, annual budget, and data analysis and performance tracking to drive informed decision making. The manger will report into the Director of FP&A. This position offers the right candidate wide ranging exposure to the evolving content industry in a successful and growing media organization. The manager plays a critical role in providing senior management with financial data and analysis to support our rapidly growing business.
What you will do:
Responsible for roll up and consolidation of quarterly forecasts working with the Director and all relevant department heads. Ensure forecasts are reasonable and accurate.
Responsible for analysis of actual and forecasted results
Responsible for preparation of financial packages related variance explanations
Proactively identify risks and opportunities through thorough understanding of key drivers, assumptions and title slate.
Assist with preparation of forecast pacing's
Assist with the annual budget and long-range plan
Perform analysis of revenue, costs, and other data as required by senior management
Perform analysis of streaming metrics, such as subscriber count, Average Revenue per User and Monthly Active Users, Churn by platform, etc. Perform other ad hoc analysis as required by senior management.
Maintain amortization and impairment schedules
What you will bring to us:
Experience in entertainment, consulting or public accounting
Excellent financial modeling and analytical abilities (Excel)
Ability to easily work with large datasets from multiple sources.
Strong proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Tableau, Essbase and SAP or Great Plains
Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables
Takes initiative, proactive, attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and implement solutions
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
What you need to be successful:
Education
Bachelor's degree required (emphasis in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred)
CPA and/or MBA a plus
5+ years of experience
