The Manager, Global Archival Mastering & Content Delivery is responsible for receiving delivery of all source theatrical, home video (4K/UHD/HDR/HD), audio (immersive, 7.1, 5.1 and 2.0), and archival elements for all in-house Pantelion productions, co-productions, and newly acquired titles, and managing the servicing of content to third party licensees. This role reports to the VP, Content Operations.
What you will do:
Manage the final delivery, ensure quality control, and archival of all theatrical, audio, video masters (4K/UHD/HDR and HD Rec709), and marketing/value-added assets for In-House Productions, Co-Productions, and High-Profile Acquisitions.
Supervise the video mastering for all In-house Productions including 4K/UHD/HDR, HD Rec709, and Alternate Versions when needed, working closely with talent.
Manage the creation of theatrical and home entertainment accessibility files (open & closed captioning, hearing impaired tracks, English descriptive audio files, and Latin American Spanish subtitles/dubs, when needed).
Manage the creation and approvals of advanced formats for theatrical releases including immersive audio (Dolby ATMOS and DTS-X), 4D motion coding (DBox, 4DX, MX4D), and IMAX, as needed.
Coordinate and supervise all Library 4K/UHD/HDR mastering, as needed.
Coordinate anti-piracy enforcement with third party vendors.
Work closely with Acquisition Executives and Business Affairs in the negotiation of the Delivery Schedules, and to ensure that all logos and credits are added to the film prior to delivery.
Work closely with Producers, Post Supervisors, and DI facilities to ensure they are provided with the most recent Pantelion Technical Specifications.
Ensure that all final assets are properly logged in and assessable for Pantelion Distribution requirements.
What you will bring:
A strong technical knowledge of industry standard specifications for world-wide distribution.
Advanced knowledge of and experience in reading and understanding Quality Control reports.
Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task against deadlines.
Proven track record of being detail oriented, highly organized, and resourceful in finding solutions to problems.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingual, Spanish/English strongly preferred.
Ability to work independently, as well as within a team setting, with exceptional time management skills.
Experience and familiarity with creation of purchase orders.
Requirements to be Successful:
A minimum of 3 years at a motion picture studio and/or streaming service. If the latter, candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of industry standard technical requirements for world-wide distribution.
Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
