Job Summary
Hemisphere Media Group is currently seeking an Analyst, FP&A that will play a key role within the Studio FP&A group with the review and consolidation of various budgets and forecasts across the segment. This offers a great opportunity to work across the company's various lines of businesses (streaming, home entertainment, production, etc.) and also provides exposure to a number of other teams within the company (planning and controllership).
Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for the consolidation and review of monthly overhead forecasts results
• Develop and refine overhead reporting processes to improve the consistency, accuracy and efficiency of business unit and consolidated segment reporting
• Develop metrics and perform analysis of actual and forecasted amounts against these metrics to ensure that all forecasts are reasonable and accurate
• Perform ad-hoc analysis at the request of finance leaders
• Experience in entertainment, consulting or public accounting
• Strong financial modeling and analytical abilities
• Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal and project management skills
• Attention to detail, desire for accuracy, and a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts, think strategically, solve problems, and implement solution
Required Skills/Abilities
• Experience in entertainment, consulting or public accounting
• Strong financial modeling and analytical abilities
• Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal and project management skills
• Attention to detail, desire for accuracy, and a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts, think strategically, solve problems, and implement solutions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and building presentation decks
• Experience in streaming service OTT, SVOD, AVOD Preferred
Education
• Bachelor's degree required (emphasis in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred)
• CPA and/or MBA a plus
• 2+ years of experience
