The Director, Digital Strategy & Operations is a unique opportunity for a motivated, creative, forward-thinking, digitally oriented leader. In this role you will help us build and oversee the implementation of HMTV's digital strategy from the ground level. We are looking for a leader driven by big ideas, passion, and vision who will be responsible for building and/or acquiring digital properties in the U.S. and LATAM focused on the Spanish speaking audience.
What you will do:
Work closely with SVP on developing ideas, strategies, and initiatives to build and grow HMTV's digital business and industry footprint, focusing on the Spanish speaking audience
Oversee the execution, and overall performance of our Digital Strategy, performance management of our Platforms
Influence product leadership in monetization and more broadly across the company to achieve our mission and strategy
Conduct market, product, industry due diligence and competitive research for potential target acquisitions and/or identify strategic partners to drive future opportunities and revenue
Support the definition and socialization of analytical frameworks to support strategy execution
Perform detailed analysis tasks that include process mapping/design, data gathering/validation, and data modeling/analysis
What you will bring:
A strong background and deep understanding of digital media, product management, LEAN, Agile methodology, content, entertainment, social media, and streaming platforms, preferability with a focus on the Spanish speaking audiences/content
Strong communication skills, both oral and written as well as presentation and writing skills
Creative, curious, entrepreneurial self-motivated and execution driven mindset
Experience as a leader of creative thinking and ability to run with resources and get things done
A ''roll up your sleeves'' mentality and a leader who has experience leading and growing a digital first company that can scale to address a sizable audience with significant market recognition
Spanish language skills a big plus
Requirements to be Successful:
Bachelor's required; MBA preferred
5+ years of experience in a Strategy, Product or Audience Growth role at a digital media, streaming, content company
Minimum of 3+ years of 'digital first' experience
