Community Surveyor

This is a Part Time Job

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A COMMUNITY SURVEYOR TO COVER GREATER LOS ANGELES
We are seeking a responsible Community Surveyor to conduct door-to-door community surveys for filming, collect responses, take good notes, update clients, create map(s) of area(s) worked with a key, detailing all responses, and meeting deadlines. No prior experience as a Community Surveyor required!
Ideally, we are seeking a well-spoken, confident individual able to work with little to no supervision. Must have a good sense of direction, the ability to read maps and legible penmanship. You will be the face of every production company you represent as you go door-to-door conducting community surveys regarding filming.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
-Start your day from your home office
-Review all jobs assigned to you to ensure pages are legible (nothing cut off) and instructions are clear
-Determine the number of copies needed for each job based upon the maps provided
-Print copies using company provided printer, ink and paper
-Connect with office to help prioritize tasks
-Conduct door-to-door surveys in neighborhoods across greater Los Angeles (primarily West side area)
-Collect signatures and take excellent notes regarding each property within given radius for each job
-Email progress updates to client and PPS office after each attempt
-Create hand-drawn or computerized map detailing area surveyed and label each property with correct address and corresponding response from list
-Meet city-imposed submission deadlines

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE
-Must have reliable transportation to and from work site.
-CLEAN DMV report
-Reliable mobile phone
-Valid CA driver's license
-Current automobile insurance
-Ability to follow directions and read a map
-Self Motivator!
-Comfortable speaking with people

SCHEDULE
-25 hours a week
• 3:30 pm-8:30 pm Wed-Sun
