Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier is Seeking Contracted ''Game Show Host'' for Prize Wheel Activation
Pacific Park Games Department is looking for a high-energy, contracted entertainer to serve as a Game Show Host for our prize wheel experience. This is a fun and dynamic role centered around crowd engagement and entertainment.
PACIFIC PARK OVERVIEW:
Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier is LA's only admission free amusement park that offers 12 amusement rides, 17 midway games, an oceanfront food plaza and dynamic retail experiences. The ever-popular Park and iconic Pier enjoy more than 6.5 million visitors annually. In addition to the Pacific Wheel, the world's only solar-powered Ferris wheel, Pacific Park's signature rides include The West Coaster, a steel roller coaster that races 55 feet above Santa Monica Bay. The Park is operated by more than 500 team members, which includes full-time and seasonal positions featuring a highly diverse, dynamic, and passionate team.
The ideal Host will be:
• Outgoing and charismatic
• Naturally funny and quick on their feet
• Warm, engaging, and sensitive to guest interactions
• Appropriately entertaining for a family-friendly amusement park setting
Responsibilities:
• Use a microphone to draw in and engage large crowds
• Encourage guests to spin the prize wheel
• Keep energy high and excitement flowing
• Work alongside a park employee who will handle all cash transactions and prize distribution
Additional Information:
• This is a contracted entertainment role.
• All work will be in full compliance with California labor laws.
• Scheduled breaks and support will be provided by park staff.
