This is a Full Time Unpaid Internship
The Broadcast Engineering Intern will assist the broadcast engineering department with logging long-term game and production tapes; maintaining the video edit suite, video library, and tape stock; and serving as production engineering assistant for live events. The Broadcast Engineering Intern will work at least 20 hours per week, and they must be available for some Fever home games that may fall on evenings or weekends.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Log all Pacers/Fever game and production tapes.
• Assist with video edit suite, video library, and tape stock.
• Serve as production engineering assistant for live events including Fever television network broadcasts and in-arena shows.
• Conduct video research.
• Assist with camera set-up and tear-down, cable maintenance, and documentation.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Enrolled in a college or university program as a junior, senior, or graduate student.
• Pursuing a degree in video production or another related major.
• Knowledge of broadcast cameras, non-linear editing systems, character generators, lighting, and computers is preferred.
• Prior experience in production is preferred.
• Excellent attitude.
• Good communication, both written and verbal.
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the office work environment is usually moderate and the noise level in the Fieldhouse / game environment is usually loud. The stress level may become high during certain times of the year.
