This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Digital Content Intern (Pacers, Fever & Mad Ants) - Spring 2025
Internship Term: Spring 2025 (January - April)
Internship Location: On-Site in Indianapolis, IN
Anticipated Time Commitment: approximately 20 - 25 hours per week
The Digital Content Intern will assist in the content ideation and creation for Pacers Sports & Entertainment social channels, including Pacers, Fever, Mad Ants and Gainbridge Fieldhouse, as well as assist with game coverage, websites and apps, copywriting, graphics, practice interviews, publish photo galleries, video highlights and more.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with coverage during Pacers, Fever & Mad Ants games (including nights and weekends), inclusive of editing photo and video content.
• Assist in the copywriting of social captions.
• Curate photo galleries and highlights for team website and distribution among players.
• Shoot and edit video interviews and highlights from team practices and games.
• Shoot social-style video with high-end smartphones or more advanced cameras.
• Assist in covering practice and postgame media availabilities.
• Transcribe press conference quotes for web and social content.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Enrolled in college or university program as a junior, senior, or graduate student.
• Strong writing skills.
• Familiarity with WordPress.
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or Premier required, both a plus.
• Ability to maintain professional, journalistic relationships with players and coaches.
• Ability to work two to three days in office per week, plus games during evenings and weekends.
