Part Time Job
Production Crew (Part-Time)
The production crew is responsible for camera operation (hand-held, hard, and robotic), switcher operation, graphics (Xpression), replay (EVS) operation, coiling camera cables, editing on Adobe Premier Pro, and approving / denying social media posts.
CAMERA EQUIPMENT DEMANDS:
• Operator should be able to lift up to 50 (fifty) pounds
• Operator might be standing for long periods of time with camera and equipment (cable, batteries, etc.)
• Operator could be asked to sit for extended periods of time while holding a camera and equipment (cable, batteries, etc.)
• Operator should be able to run a broadcast camera and keep up with NBA fast-paced action
• Operator should be able to climb Stairs and walk with equipment.
• Operator should know how to install/remove (plug/unplug) and coil camera cable accurately
• Ability to wear a headset for communication while working
OTHER CAPABILITIES:
• Knowledge and able to run EVS replay equipment
• Workflow knowledge of Ross-Xpression graphic system
• Ability to set-up and operate a Sony MVS 7000 switcher
• Knowledge of Aquilon technology a plus
• Knowledge and use of hand-held and stationary (hard) Camera equipment
• Proficient in use of ENG Camera equipment and audio input
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro CC software for quick editing and photo manipulation during games
• Able to watch social media and approve and deny public posts for use during shows
• Able to follow action and set up shots running a robotic camera
• Knowledge of Broadcast Television workflow
• Should have good interpersonal and communication skills to relay information not clear to the director/producer including television terminology (zoom, focus, lighting, iris level, etc.)
• Listens and accomplishes tasks from producer/director/engineering staff

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret instructions and reports. Ability to write reports, recaps, and correspondence with very high accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Managers, Clients, Customers, and the general public. Ability to communicate and sell ideas to peers and executives. Ability to build and deliver presentations to all levels of employees and upper management.
