Can you help take our products to the next level? We are looking for a QA Lead who can bring their ideas, vision, and experience to Pac-12’s product & release lifecycle. The QA Lead must have a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated test design, and delivering high-quality products. Join us and build something meaningful.
Responsibilities
• Own the quality and testing of Pac-12’s applications & streaming products, ensuring exceptional fan experiences across Pac-12 product portfolio
• Partner with product development and engineering teams to define quality standards and metrics for our products and infrastructure
• Establish, document, and implement Pac-12’s testing strategy
• Create test plan development processes for unit, functional, performance, stress, and user acceptance testing
• Implement automated tests and challenge the team continuously to move towards test automation for all products
• Create and execute user acceptance testing plans across all Pac-12 properties
• Participate in Agile workflows (sprint planning, daily scrum, retrospectives)
REQUIREMENTS
• 5 years of experience testing high-volume consumer-facing web sites & mobile applications as part of an agile team
• 3 years of experience testing responsive desktop and mobile web (iOS, Android, and Windows) user interfaces, including cross-browser compatibility, test planning, and execution
• Experience testing web services and APIs
• Experience using tools such as Selenium and Appium
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Javascript
• Ability to review user stories and provide feedback to PMs
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities
• Experience working with Drupal, Swift, Kotlin, Android, iOS, MacOS, and Windows
• Strong verbal and written communication skills both in person and utilizing a team communication tool such as Slack
• BS in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
BONUS
• Experience testing video streaming and encoding workflows
• Programming experience in any language
• Experience with Nightwatch.js
• Experience with test case management systems like TestRail
• Experience working on Performance and Stress/Load tests
• Experience using Mock APIs to facilitate application testing
• Exposure to Accessibility testing (WCAG 2.0 AA)
