Full Time Job
The Production Coordinator- Facilities reports to the Production Manager- Facilities Scheduling (PM} and supports all of the logistical, and operational tasks involved in the television production of each Pac-12 Network's studio and/or remote sports productions. The position is based in the Pac-12 Network Studio/Offices located in San Francisco.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinator maintains inventory of all assets both at the PAC-12 studios as well as on each campus with daily communication with on-site asset managers to assist, track and support.
• Coordinator works with Production Managers and Production Coordinators to assist with shipping and tracking of all equipment on each remote event.
• Coordinate back up records and game melts to be recorded and archived at each remote event. Making sure that each school’s asset manager is prepared with enough tape stock and communicating the protocol when crews are on site.
• Stay up to date on Federal/State/Industry Laws and Regulation posters that need to be displayed at all events.
• Keeping track of missing, lost and broken items on site and in house that needs to be repaired or replaced while working under strict time frames for getting equipment on site in time for an event. Must prioritize urgency for shipping of these items while being budget conscious.
• Supporting Production Managers with equipment changes, additional equipment requests and helping to keep data of all truck specs to better document assets.
• Responsible for assisting PM's with all remote logistics, truck bookings, equipment rentals and enhancements.
• Assist with development, scheduling and promotion of the student training program. Helping to manage logistics for training on each campus as well as tracking budgets.
• Monitor and assist in updating the master production schedule while helping to check transmission resources with BITS and confirm transmission plans with PC's and PM's.
• All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 2 Years of prior work experience in studio or remote television production environment
• Previous remote sports production experience required
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Excellent people, organizational, and communication skills are essential
• Self-disciplined and self-motivated
• Have the ability to comprehend the extensive production operations and schedules
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize under time constraints and work successfully in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in a culturally diverse organization and supporting the values held by our unique employees, clients, sponsors, university faculty, and fans
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel), Google applications; Gmail, Google Calendar, etc..
• Capable of managing multiple projects with changing deadlines
• Required to be 'on-call' on a rotating basis
• Some travel may be required
• Must be willing and able to work flexible schedules including evenings, overnights, and most weekends and holidays
