Responsible for a variety of content production for the Pac-12's multi-platform video content pipeline, in support of the Pac-12 Conference's 12 universities and nearly 7,000 student-athletes the Digital Content Creator will bring expertise to the Pac-12 digital and social media team from a video editing and production standpoint, specific to digital and social platforms. The position will play a key role in contributing to weekly content production and gameday coverage as well as branded content efforts and sales and sponsorship revenue tied to digital and social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Craft video content utilizing media management systems, third-party vendors, and Adobe Premiere
• Produce content specified by digital and social platforms
• Coordinate sponsored content requirements and branded content efforts, participating in the planning and production of revenue-generating content across Pac-12 digital and social media platforms
• Provide video coverage for games, shows and tentpole events on nights and weekends (i.e., recap highlights, sponsored segments, and assets, etc.)
• Assist in creating graphical elements in Adobe Photoshop and After Effects utilizing templates and toolkits
• Participate in content production and editorial decisions with digital and social staff to create content and support the Pac-12 mission, voice, and company objectives
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree with 5 years experience in digital & social video production
• Ability to execute platform-specific content in varied formats (square, vertical, 16x9)
• Comfortable in digital production environments
• Knowledge of Pac-12 sports and teams
• Self-starter requiring little oversight while maintaining excellent attention to detail
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
• Willingness to work hours as dictated by the news cycle and sports including evenings and weekends.
