The Administrative Assistant - Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion and Football Operations will have the responsibility of managing all administrative aspects for multiple executives including day-to-day calendar management and acts as the gatekeeper and first point of contact for the Chief People and Inclusion Officer and Executive Associate Commissioner, Football Operations. The Administrative Assistant will manage priorities and deadlines for both Supervisors. This position will also support the administrative functions of the People Operations, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Football Operations departments as assigned.
The Pac-12 office is based in San Francisco, but this position is open to fully remote employees in the states of California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversee heavy calendaring for both Chief People & Inclusion Officer and Executive Associate Commissioner, Football Operations.
• Manage complex domestic travel, itineraries, and logistics seamlessly.
• Screen incoming and outgoing phone calls, responding appropriately.
• Create written communication with a myriad of internal and external constituents.
• Manage expense reports.
• Coordinate with internal and external executives and assistants to coordinate events, meetings, and appointments.
• Prepare meeting materials, booklets, and other documents associated with the administration of People Operations, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Football Operations.
• Support CPIO with the development and management of agendas and materials for DEI Officer meetings, ImPACt Leadership Council Meetings, and other meetings and committees as assigned
• Available to travel for meeting preparation or championship administration.
• Ability to work overtime as needed, evenings or weekends during times of high workload, off-site meetings, and championships/tournaments.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of five years experience as an administrative assistant serving senior management personnel or similar administrative experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Docs, etc.), MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and proofreading ability
• Ability to balance workload from two or more supervisors
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time
• Strong interest in areas of diversity, equity & inclusion, and/or football operations
• Bachelor or Associate degree preferred but not required

The pay range for this position is $30.00 per hour - $36.00 per hour. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, education, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Pac-12's total compensation package for employees.
