Intern - Video Editor

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Internship Start Date/Season: October 2025 - January 2026
Internship Duration: 4 months
Time/Days Required: Minimum 2-3 days/week or minimum 16-20 hours/week.
Workplace Requirements: In-office

Emmy-award winning production company seeks dependable, creative-thinking and open-minded video editor interns to help in the West Hollywood office, work on various film and media projects, and support on-site at special events such as upcoming award seasons awards shows, events, crime documentaries and film festivals. This is your opportunity to learn about editing and develop real-world experience in all aspects of executing high-end events and projects. Enrollment in an accredited university or college is not required.

Looking for Video Editor Intern:

Requirements & Skills:
• Must own a laptop
• Have reliable car transportation for daily errands
• Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Have an exceptional work ethic with the ability to both multitask and work independently
• Plus if one can edit (Premier) , create simple gfx , use Photoshop
• Good with Social Media platforms
• Creative environment, hands on
• Be eager to dive in and help when they can
• Be able to take the initiative when needed
• Have a good attitude, time management skills, and a sense of professionalism.
• Work well in a team setting
• Be able to adapt while maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment
• Possess good communication skills and have proper phone and email etiquette
• Have a working knowledge of Gmail and Google Drive (Docs/Sheets/Slides/Forms). Adobe Premiere is a plus
• Familiarity with social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc.
• Work with season editor to cut promos
• Make social media adds
• Hone your story telling skills through crime documentary editing
• Learn Color grading and color correction
• Learn how to do video transcription
• Crafting visually compelling and dynamic edits
• Editing content that aligns with our tone and style
