Finance Manager
• About the Job
o Oversee month-end financial close including journal entries, account reconciliations, budget-variance analysis, review and financial statement preparation
o Directly responsible for Affiliate and Advertising revenue including associated analyses and reports
o Perform financial projections over Programming assets
o Direct supervision of Staff Accountant and Payroll Accountant
o Perform analysis over monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements including departmental budget variances
o Assist the VP, Finance with department responsibilities
o Interface directly with department heads to provide financial support and analysis
o Assist with the preparation of materials for Board meetings
o Assist with the annual budgeting and forecast process including substantial involvement with Affiliate and Programming specifically
o Oversee annual audit serving as point of contact
o Recommend and implement processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
o Manage AP disbursements and cash flow
o Special projects as needed or assigned
• Education/Certification
o Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
o CPA preferred
• Experience
o 5 years professional experience in accounting
o Entertainment industry background is preferred
o Microsoft Dynamics GP systems experience is preferred

o Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

o Strong leadership skills
o Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
o Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
o Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems
