JOB SUMMARY Manage implementation of quality community and outreach initiatives. Play a key role along with the Social Responsibility Manager in the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation's efforts to obtain financial and other support to sustain its work in the community through the solicitation of donations (monetary and in-kind) through individuals, foundations, corporations, and staff. Manage fundraising activities, including developing fundraising opportunities and identifying potential donors through effective research, outreach, and relationship building. Provide vision for the overall marketing, branding, and promotional functions of the Foundation, all while aligning with annual fundraising goals and objectives and fulfilling the mission of the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation (OMYF).

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Hire and supervise staff and departmental interns and manage their workflow.
• Provide coaching, direction and oversee development of direct reports.
• Provide ongoing timely performance management feedback through regular touch base meetings and the Quarterly Check In (QCI) process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and coordinate logistics of community initiatives that align with the department's focus areas of education, health and wellness, arts, multi-cultural inclusion and the economically underserved. These programs include, but are not limited to: NBA Cares, holiday outreach, ticket programs, player initiatives and cause-related philanthropic programs.
• Manage the Magic Volunteer Program (MVP) program by developing new strategies, branding and implementation pertaining to board placements, volunteer projects, tracking, speaker's bureau and employee recognition.
• Maintain employee volunteer database and coordinate all MVP related employee volunteer activities (including sign-up, tracking, reporting, and recognition).
• Manage and facilitate entire lifecycle for autograph sessions including all communication to department heads, reservation of room, ordering of supplies and items to be autographed. Coordinate with other departments to recruit volunteers, set-up, implement and deliver items to other departments.
• Provide support and assist as needed on corporate events such as, but not limited to the Black Tie and Tennies, Wine Festival & Auction, OMYF Open Golf Tournament, and any special events.
• Manage and facilitate all talent and player appearances with Special Events, Communications, and Marketing.
• Service as the internal liaison for all printing and graphic requests.
• Maintain database for tracking of community relations programs, speaker, player, talent, elected officials and donation requests.
• Serve as primary backup and provide assistance to the Manager of Social Responsibility/OMYF Administrator on all aspects of the annual OMYF fundraising events, including, but not limited to, the OMYF Black Tie & Tennies Gala, Wine Festival & Auction, OMYF Open Golf Tournament, Employee Giving Campaign Responsibilities include: production and distribution of collateral materials; database management; handling the reservations and master attendee list; assisting with overall event coordination.
• Manage and facilitate the auction process for annual OMYF fundraising events, including, but not limited to, the OMYF Black Tie & Tennies Gala, OMYF Open Golf Tournament, and FOX Sports Broadcast Auction. Responsibilities include: inventory maintenance, coordinating the gathering of items, developing all promotional materials/brochures, payment/accounting/collection issues, thank-you letters and all related correspondence, coordinating auction events, volunteer requests and training, and committee coordination.
• Service as primary scheduler of volunteers and staff for game nights and special events, volunteer training, posting program information to Center Court, OMYF website and OMYF hotline, process and track both program revenue and expenses, and work with Manager of Social Responsibility/OMYF Administrator to provide content for playbill, social media, etc.
• Service as primary back up and assistant to Manager of Social Responsibility/OMYF Administrator with all aspects of the OMYF grant process including, but not limited to application and audit reviews, agency site visits, coordinating meetings with the OMYF Board, and general communication to agencies.
• Supervise Social Responsibility/OMYF Intern with the coordination of the online and in-game auction including, but not limited to procuring and organizing autograph items for annual autograph sessions, creating certificates of authenticity, uploading information to the auction website, supervising auction at Magic home games, bidder correspondence, auction vendor communication, track program revenue and expenses, etc.
• Develop ongoing relationships with potential donors to influence donor activity. Make solicitations and other presentations to potential donors on the activities of the Foundation.
• Responsible for all record keeping related to fundraising and development, including donor recognition efforts.
• Develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with other professional sports and local community foundations. Research and report best practices.
• Input, track and report information in databases including, but not limited to grant management, trade donations and OMYF donor contact information.
• Collect and organize pictures, video and stories from Social Responsibility initiatives to be used in annual report, ads, videos, social media, etc.
• Manage and facilitate Employee Giving Campaign and the creation of collateral relating to the campaign.
• Write articles for the website and social media as needed.
• Maintain OMYF website regularly, provide content and ensure all pages are updated and accurate.
• Manage and facilitate volunteer recruitment and assignments for all Social Responsibility program/events.
• Develop marketing materials to promote OMYF and its fundraising activities as needed.
• Develop and administer post-event surveys and report results to Manager of Social Responsibility/OMYF Administrator.
• Makes decisions guided by precedent and based on company policy.

• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS None QUALIFICATIONS
• Four Year Degree in public relations, communications, marketing, sports management or related field and/or equivalent professional experience required.
• Minimum one to three years of non-profit/ fundraising/ event coordination / development experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience helpful.
• Strong interpersonal skills; evidence of excellent relationship building at all levels.
• Self-starter with strong project and time management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to budget and meeting tight timelines.
