Assistant to Executive Producer and CEO Internship
Award winning digital production company is seeking applicants for a production intern position who is available to dedicate themselves to an unpaid (expenses only) internship.
As an intern you will have a prime position to gain real experience within the Production industry, and play a role in supporting the Ex-Producer and CEO of the company. This will encompass working on administrative tasks, office maintenance, production research sourcing, handling calls, production tasks, in the office and at times you may be required on set and other tasks.
The ideal candidate will be able to provide excellent client service at all times, both face to face and in written communication. You will have a keen interest in pursuing a career in production. As with any Media / Television company, at times you will work within a very fast paced environment which requires an individual to remain calm under pressure and priorities when multiple tasks must be managed simultaneously.
General qualifications:
- Motivated, self- starter
- Strong writing abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail/ strong follow- up skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as well as independently
- Eager to learn and grow in the position
- Ability to accept and apply constructive feedback
- Flexibility
- Punctuality/ respect for deadlines
- Self- discipline and hard work ethic
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to multitask in a busy work environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Must be highly organized and able to consistently follow project organizational guidelines.
- A passionate interest in production
Key Skills & Duties:
- Email, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
- Experience uploading large files, and videos to platforms such as vimeo and youtube
- Administrative tasks
- Setting up meetings managing the calendar
- making production calls and inquiries
- Social media updates
- Research
- Willingness to occasionally work very long hours and on weekends in order to meet deadlines.
