Producer (Remote from NJ/Philadelphia)

Job Summary:
This is an opportunity to become an active participant in the creation of amazing content for a major brand. The position will be fully remote, but primarily serving our client in the Philadelphia/South Jersey area, so a reasonable proximity to this area is ideal.
You will play a key role in conceptualizing, planning, and producing high-quality video content that aligns with our client's objectives. Your day-to-day work will include overseeing post-production on various projects, but you will also be responsible for all aspects of video production when the need arises, from pre-production to post-production.
The Producer will report to and work closely with our Executive Producer, and will work with our Account Manager, Senior Editors, Editors, Motion Graphics Artists, and roster of freelance production professionals to bring attention-grabbing content to life for consumer advertising and marketing initiatives, social media content, internal events
and training, and more.

-- Strong sense of story. Can craft paper edits / string outs and is an expert in building a narrative
-- Strong writing skills - can write a voiceover script for anything from voiceover-driven live-action videos to animated text videos to explainer videos and more
• Creative development: Some projects will have rigid guidelines, while others will require you to think outside the box and come up with a creative solution
-- Taking ownership of projects from start to finish & juggling multiple projects at once
• Comfortable working with and leading a team of post-production professionals
• Comfortable hiring crew, handling logistics, and producing/directing a field shoot
• Polished leadership abilities: Can coach Associate Producers and Editors, rally the team, and provide creative direction + manage staff effectively
• Coming in with a roster of freelance editors, camera operators/DPs, sound recordists, voiceover artists, various production crew roles is a big plus, but MUST know how to source crew in various locations around the Northeast and around the country, sometimes on short notice
• Experience with / an understanding of basic budgeting is required
• Strong understanding of videography, cinematography, lighting techniques, and how to appropriately hire crew based on the scope of the project

-- Highly organized, with exceptional communication skills and attention to detail, including the ability to master and follow the brand guidelines for our major client
