Intern - Production

This is a Full Time Unpaid Internship

Seeking a summer intern who is looking to gain experience in all aspects of pre and post-production. Intern will report directly to the Executive Producer of Short-Form Programming and under the EP's direction, identify and research story ideas and interview subjects. The person who fills this position will be encouraged to contribute to the creative process and involved in selecting and producing content for the Odyssey Networks website and mobile application, Call on Faith.

Additional post-production responsibilities will include logging field tapes to help outline scripts for edit. The production intern will work closely with the editors to help identify archival footage, still photos and music for use in edits. There will also be opportunities to string out initial cuts of timelines in Final Cut Pro before transferring the project to the editors for completion. If aptitude is displayed, there will be an opportunity to edit your own piece.

The right candidate will have the following attributes:
• Sound editorial judgment
• Strong research skills
• Interest in gaining hands on experience in the field
• Working knowledge of Final Cut Pro
