Job Title: Background Painter
Full-time Position

Oddbot Inc has an exciting new opportunity for a Background Painter to join the team on an animated show.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Art Director and/or Background Paint Lead to apply color, textures and details to approved background designs
• Reference color keys established by Art Director to adhere to show style and guidelines
• Further the storytelling process using color
• Adhere to the production schedule provided by Line Producer to ensure cost effective, timely production

Qualifications/Requirements

• Ability to align with style and sensibility of show
• Ability to translate reference into 2D art
• Relevant painting experience necessary
• Knowledge of applicable design software and hardware
• Strong time-management skills
• Work well under pressure
• Highly organized and detail oriented
