Intern (Global Soccer Fan Festivals) (Home Improvement Client)
THE JOB / Intern (Global Soccer Fan Festivals) (Home Improvement Client)
EXPERIENCES / Responsible for planning and executing events and experiential marketing programs.
Next summer, Octagon will help bring the excitement of the FIFA World Cup to life across some of the nation’s most iconic cities. On behalf of our home improvement client, we’re hiring 15–20 Interns in each host city to support the execution of world-class fan experiences through event operations, fan engagement, and vendor management.
As an Intern, you’ll work alongside your on-site manager and Octagon’s account team to help create unforgettable moments for fans. Expect a hands-on role with 8–12 hour shifts outdoors at official fan festival zones—either near the host stadium or in the heart of the host cities.
Because these are locally based events, you must live in or have housing within your host city. Interns should be available for the majority or all of the event schedule, running from mid-May through mid-July 2026.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to gain real-world experience at the largest sporting event on the planet. You’ll learn what it takes to build, operate, and manage large-scale experiential activations—while working side by side with industry-leading professionals, vendors, and partners.
Ideal candidates are team-oriented, communicative, adaptable, and eager to contribute to an unforgettable global event experience.
