Full Time Job
The Multimedia Producer organizes, conceptualizes and develops topics, features and guests that represent the intended audience of A's Cast. This person will partner with the show's hosts and others to create engaging content, increase listenership, and enhance the product.
Multimedia Producer:
• Produce, plan and deliver daily content for new live daily show
• Edit, produce and deliver content to be utilized within all A's audio platforms
• Plan, manage and execute off-site schedule to take A's Cast on the road. Coordinating with experiential marketing staff and remote locations (restaurants, etc) throughout the East Bay
• Coordinate, setup and produce A's Cast live video shoots for streaming services (FB Live, etc
• Share, evangelize and produce multimedia content across social platforms
• Serve as key liaison to marketing department to develop appropriate content strategy and direction
• Provide a fan-driven and user-generated approach to content creation with real-time curation of fan-facing platforms (text line, phone calls, contesting)
• Provide assets and deliverables to assist in presentation of sales materials on new platform
• Key Responsibilities
• Managing the show's content with regards to relevance, creativity and tune-in messaging.
• Manage and grow the show's brand through video
• Actively participate in the development of daily content by developing & researching topics for discussion; conceptualize, write and produce appropriate segments
• Book and pre-interview guests both in-stadium and when the show is remote. Communicate with baseball operations and PR to book A's and visiting team personnel
• Communicate with broadcasting group to ensure content, tactical plans and image are consistent with the station's overall strategy
• Attending promotion, sales and planning meetings to represent the show and provide clear communication between all
• Create and maximize revenue opportunities
• Being present when the show is on the air and on location
• Coordinate logistics for remote and special broadcasts
• Tactical planning for future shows, opportunities and interviews with opposing teams
• Obtains permissions or licenses for recording or broadcasting on location, and for the use of music, sound effects and audio archive material
Monitors listener emails, inquiries and responses related to shows
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Radio Producer and/or Assistant in a smaller market or college station
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Radio or Media Production, or related field is preferred
• Ability to plan and organize, set priorities, multi-task and the discipline to focus and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with on-air staff, departments and clients
• Creative and strategic problem solver
• Ability to work with creative individuals as part of a team; excellent leadership skills
• Have and build great relationships in the sports community with a deep contact list
• Strong production skills and knowledge of Adobe Audition
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and social networking
• Strong knowledge of all FCC rules and regulations
• Must be flexible with work hours including nights, weekends and holidays
• Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record
