Mail Room Assistant-Part Time
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to…
• Collect sort and deliver incoming, outgoing and interdepartmental mail.
• Meter mail and process for delivery to U.S. Postal Service
• Verify and maintain records on incoming/outgoing shipments and prepares all packages for shipment.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Receive and process products for repair.
• Schedule pick-ups of outgoing Messenger packages.
• Receive and distribute express parcels (FedEx, UPS, DHL, Etc.)
• Performs other duties as needed and as directed by supervisor.

• Good communication and verbal skills needed.
• Must be flexible and able to work in a team environment to accomplish multiple tasks.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

• Experience in mailroom services, knowledge of copy machines, Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Must be computer literate, possess a working knowledge of UPS, FedEx and DHL shipping software
• High school graduation or GED and one-year mailroom experience
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
