Photography Intern
Department: Creative Services
Reports to: Photography Manager
Job Classification: Non-Exempt
City/State: Oakland, CA
Description:
The Oakland Athletics are currently seeking a part-time Photography Intern. This position reports directly to the Photography Manager and is responsible for but not limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
• Take photographs on game days of game action, on-field promotions, fans, celebrity guests, etc.
• Assist with tagging and archival of photos shot
• Shoot and edit front office and players at community appearances, group outings and other occasional external events
• Graphic Design experience is a plus, but is not required.
• Must be available for all home games during the 2020 season
• Ability to edit photographs as needed in a designated time frame
• Represent the Oakland Athletics in a positive light and assist fans in ballpark as needed
• Other duties as assigned by Photography Manager and Creative Marketing team
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Previous applicable photography experience is mandatory
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, very organized
• Provide a well organized portfolio of high caliber photography
• Succeed in a team environment
• Multi-task and effectively problem solve
• Some heavy lifting may apply
• Strong verbal, written, and communication skills
• Must be a creative thinker and do well in a fast-paced environment
