Job Summary
The Oakland Athletics are currently seeking a full-time Guest Services Assistant. This position will report directly to the Director, Guest Services. The Guest Services Assistant is responsible for managing the guest services supplies and locations, fulfilling guests' customer service requests and assisting with all game day staffing and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Inventory, stock and maintain guest services equipment, supplies and locations
• Assist with guest services call center and ballpark services' locations
• Monitor and respond to guests' emails, letters and phone calls
• Respond, resolve and track customer feedback, inquiries and complaints
• Maintain lost and found inventory and respond to inquiries
• Oversee Fan Pack distribution
• Manage Designated Driver Program
• Mail customer service recovery items
• Assist with game day staff recruitment, onboarding, training and deployment
• Supervise Giveaway Staff
• Facilitate staff incentive program
• Serve as game day Event Representative
• Perform duties assigned to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for ballpark guests
• Have full knowledge of the Oakland Athletics ticket and stadium policies
• Have full knowledge of the RingCentral Coliseum operations
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
• BA/BS college degree preferred, and/or equivalent experience
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Excellent customer service abilities and problem-solving skills
• Detail oriented individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must be able to lift objects up to 50lbs
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
