Promotions and Social Media Manager - Seasonal
O'Fallon Baseball Group, operators of CarShield Field, the O'Fallon Hoots of the Prospect League and the CarShield Collegiate League, are searching for a seasonal Promotions and Social Media Manager. A perfect candidate for this position is a recent graduate or an upperclassman looking to gain additional experience in marketing and promotions leadership. Here's what we need:
• Ambitious, driven and excited person looking to join a first-class team
• Hungry learner
• Do-whatever-it-takes mentality as it pertains to all facets of the organization
• Video and graphic editing experience
• Previous experience working in promotions, entertainment or marketing with a sports team is highly preferred, but not a requirement
Here's what you'll be doing:
• Reports directly to the General Manager
• Manages the Hoots social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok and any new, emerging platforms)
• Develops and produces short and longform digital content
• Manages all marketing and promotions interns
• Responsible for all in-game entertainment and personnel including music, on-field activities, National Anthem and dance performances
• Compiles and organizes all videography and photography
• Oversee and execute on mascot appearance calendar for outside events
• Any additional duties or tasks as assigned by the General Manager
Contract term: May 1, 2024 - August 15, 2024 (Negotiable based on school schedules)
Compensation: $14 / hr. up to 40 hours per week
HIRING TIMELINE
Collection and review of applicants: December 1-15
First Round of Interviews: Dec. 18-22
Second Round of Interviews: Jan. 3-5
Anticipated offer date window: Jan. 10-15
