Faculty - Cinema 4D

This is a Part Time Job

The Department of Design, Digital Arts & Film in the School of Continuing and Professional Studies is currently seeking a Cinema 4D instructor for the spring 2010 semester. An ideal candidate is a dynamic 3D animator, with a thorough grounding in creating characters and storytelling, as well as proven technical expertise.

DDAF NYU-SCPS is a vibrant community of professionals from all sectors of the media industry united in their passion to engage students in dialogue about and training for the creative industry. We solicit applicants who are excited by the prospect of being an animation educator, confidence to develop a clear direction, and the skill to instruct students. All interested candidates should have a portfolio of work that demonstrates both their technical abilities and aesthetic sensibilities and be able to articulate their thoughts clearly and succinctly on their work and process.

Candidates should be established professionals in the NYC metro area with 7-10 years experience in the industry. Free lancers and others with flexible daytime work schedules are particularly encouraged to apply. All adjunct instructor positions in the department are only part-time. Candidates with Masters degrees and previous teaching experience preferred, Bachelor's degree required.
