Music & Artist Management Intern
We are seeking a new addition to our artist management team. Have a passion for music? Looking for hands on experience handling music distribution, marketing campaign execution, and project management? Are you hungry to learn and have a creative mind? Are you detail-oriented, motivated, and seeking experience in the music industry?
Our quickly expanding artist management division currently represents four artists: Black Caviar, partywithray, Syence, and Kastra.
We are seeking an artist management intern to assist us in day-to-day operations including but not limited to:
Work closely with artists and the management team to develop and execute their vision for digital marketing campaigns.
Brainstorming and developing new PR campaigns for our artists' upcoming records.
Coordinating DJ Servicing email campaigns, managing Soundcloud repost groups, playlist curation.
Coordination and distribution of music with artists to DSPs, labels, sync agencies.
Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers in the digital space, while creating unique partnership campaigns to further expose our artists & music.
Ability to research new trends, platforms and industries outside of music entertainment.
Desired skills / requirements:
Hungry with a desire to learn - this is an ever changing field and market
Creative mind with a willingness to try new things
Broad knowledge of the entertainment industry specializing in dance music
Experience in developing and marketing the brand of a product
Understanding of all major social networks and how they function
Understanding of the internet and developing trends
The ability to be independently proactive.
Critical thinking skills
An innate ability to vibe professionally with a diverse team and clientele base, including creative executives
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Attend meetings and events as required.
Provide creative input and ideas on projects.
Owns own laptop.
Ideally a student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
Ideal candidate lives in the Boston area, but remote candidates are accepted.
