Intern - Development

Nova Filmhouse is a newly founded film studio that delivers content across all platforms from smart phones to multiplexes. Nova's senior staff have cumulatively produced over 100 feature films and TV shows, from low budget indie titles to triple A blockbusters, including Not Forgotten, 10 Things I Hate About You and The Lord of the Rings.

This is a part-time internship for college credit. Hours are flexible, and your assignments will be tailored to your specific interests and goals. You can work partially from home, but you must be available to come in to our office at least once a week.
Interns will work closely with our company's producer and director, and learn about the day-to-day functions of a film studio. You will be exposed to all aspects of film, from development to post-production.

If accepted into our internship program, your duties may include any of the following:
• Reading scripts and writing coverage
• Industry research
• Public relations
• Physical production
• Post production
• Web design
• Misc. duties necessary

Basic Requirements:
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must own a laptop
• Know the basics of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Google Drive a plus

Nova's internship program focuses on providing education and real world experience. You will NOT be fetching coffee or doing runs.
Eagerness to learn and improve is more important to us than experience.
