NorthSouth Productions, a NYC-based television production company is seeking an Office Manager/Receptionist to join their team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a sharp mind that is able to prioritize tasks, be proactive, possess strong attention to detail, have enthusiasm for rallying team morale, and must have a ''can do'' attitude!
Key responsibilities:
-- Act as the face of our NYC office - opening the office, greeting guests, answering phones;
-- Manage conference room bookings, budgeting and ordering of office supplies, maintain tidiness of kitchen;
-- Be the point person for all office needs; coordinate with building management for use of freight elevator for production teams, generating key cards for new employees and freelancers, submitting maintenance requests for employees as well as our subtenants;
-- Bring visible enthusiasm to a dynamic and energetic office staff;
-- Develop an engaging and productive internship program every semester from creating internship postings to setting interviews and hiring;
-- Coordinate with payroll to arrange for timely delivery of paychecks;
Skills and Requirements:
-- Clear and articulate voice; able to communicate information succinctly;
-- Responsiveness to fast-changing situations;
-- Strong organization skills in office space management and digital record-keeping;
-- A can-do attitude able to assess and realize tasks with little direction;
-- Ability to perform a range of tasks on any given day from client services to simple office maintenance;
-- A strong command of Google Suite for calendar, mail, documentation, and archival purposes
