Overview and Responsibilities
Noggin is a leading interactive learning service for families with young kids. We help children develop skills, knowledge and passions through play with the characters they love. We also give parents important tools to help their kids thrive. A multi-platform direct-to-consumer offering, Noggin reaches families in the domestic market through standalone mobile apps, connected TV apps, and add-on channels. We are building a team of highly motivated, diverse and capable individuals who are eager to work in a startup-like environment within a large media company. We need innovators and self-starters who are passionate about playful learning and comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative and innovative organization. Responsibilities include:
• Lead the development of interactive preschool content that aligns with business and learning objectives from concept development to completion
• Oversee the full lifecycle of content development, from definition to prioritization to technical implementation, in collaboration with leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, designers, developers and QA
• Foster a creative, collaborative, and agile culture
• Analyze content engagement and performance to drive deeper audience engagement and impact
• Leverage data in making content decisions and setting priorities; encourage metrics-based optimizations to deliver high quality learning experiences at scale
• Communicate content roadmap and requirements across teams clearly and effectively
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• 7 years previous learning or relevant interactive content development experience
• Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of interactive production processes, including conceptualization, management, design, planning, budgeting, staffing, technology, art, audio, QA, and performance optimization
• Proven knowledge of play-based learning and experience in interactive content development; early childhood experience preferred
Additional Qualifications
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with varying scope and to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Expertise in rapid-cycle iteration and production processes and “design thinking”
• Ability to learn new software development environments and systems quickly; able to work within technical limitations and find creative solutions; 3-D and/or 2-D level design experience a plus
• Demonstrated knowledge of integrating story-telling into user experience
• Ability to identify user experience design challenges, develop solutions, and incorporate into future development
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
