Noggin (http://www.noggin.com) is a leading learning platform and Nickelodeon's top-ranked video subscription service for families with preschoolers. We deliver streaming and interactive learning content that helps young kids develop skills, knowledge and passions through play with the characters they love. We also help parents help their kids thrive. A direct-to-consumer offering available on 10 platforms, Noggin reaches families in the domestic market through standalone mobile apps, connected TV apps, and add-on channels. We are building a team of highly motivated individuals who are eager to work in a start-up-like environment within a large media company. We need innovators and self-starters who are passionate about playful learning and comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative-led organization.
We are looking for a Senior Copywriter who will be responsible for writing and editing content. The Senior Contentwriter will work with key stakeholders to develop clear and effective content for a variety of audiences and channels.This role will be based out of our NYC office and will report to the VP, Growth Marketing Strategy of Noggin.
This role is temporarily remote due to COVID-19 with the expectation of returning full time to NYC after.
Responsibilities
• Write effective, smart, and approachable copy for all marketing materials, including emails, blog posts, social media posts, and digital ads, that clearly communicates marketing and business objectives.
• Enhance the user experience and communicate product value through site UX copy.
• Proofread creative assets as needed to ensure accurate use of grammar and product descriptions.
• Thoroughly understand and clearly convey the brand voice throughout all marketing materials with on-time delivery to the brief specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, content, learning & impact, and market research.
• Manage the social content calendar, including developing content concepts from idea to execution.
Basic Qualifications
• 5 to 8 years of writing and editing experience in marketing.
• Experience intranslating strategy into content that is native to each platform and will deliver results (e.g., brand affinity, subscription growth and engagement).
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to a challenging, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and partners.
• Strong attention to detail; ability and willingness to proofread yours and others' work thoroughly and effectively.
• Bachelor's degree.
