Digital Content Producer/Editor // No Label Productions // A Baron Davis Company
No Label is a full-scale production company that creates film, television and video content through key collaborations with premium brands and emerging talent. We are seeking a talented and organized Digital Content Producer/Editor. The Producer/Editor would report to the VP of Production Jenna Cavelle at No Label and Founder Baron Davis directly.
Duties include, but are not limited to, shooting, editing and managing/producing social media content calendar for Baron Davis Enterprises which consists of 4 brands (No Label Productions, U-Wish, SLIC: Sports & Lifestyle In Culture, Black Santa Company) and their associated social media channels (including YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook).
The ideal candidate has a passion for social media, editing, is detail-oriented, has a strong work ethic, and is able to work effectively with minimal supervision. Must have a passion and in-depth knowledge of sports, especially basketball. Additionally, candidate has a strong interest in African American culture, film & TV, music, and lifestyle. Candidate must have a knowledge of the social media landscape as well as key players and influencers. Candidate will be expected to conceptualize content ideas to present to executives for approval/greenlight. Candidate should be resourceful and creative with scarce resources. Candidate must be highly trustworthy and employ appropriate security measures to protect high profile company founder, Baron Davis.
Salary will be $45-60k per year commensurate on the candidate's qualifications. Competitive benefits package. Recent film school graduates encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:?
-Filming content for various social media channels while keeping in mind the different voices and missions of each brand.?
-Editing and delivering content often on a quick turnaround following a strict content schedule. Should also be able to shoot a basic DSLR or iPhone.
- -Channel management on the various social platforms.
- - Using analytics to shape the content strategy, resulting in growth across all channels.
-Fast turnaround when editing simple text, image, and music content.
- -Managing the company content archival library and creatively repurposing existing content for social media (example: taking archived basketball video content and reediting for this current basketball season).
-Travel to capture content on location with executives when required (potentially on weekly basis.)?
-Managing the various social media channels and creating a content strategy based on analytics.
- -Various production needs as problems arise.
Required Skills:
-Technical shooting capabilities.?
-Superior proficiency in editing software, such as Premiere/Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut, the Avid.
- -Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects skills helpful.
Basic Qualifications:
-Extremely social media savvy.
- -Previous social media management experience preferred (internships ok).?
-Bachelor's degree required, Masters degree preferred.
- -Motivated, organized, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- -Ability to multitask, prioritize work, take initiative, and manage time efficiently.
- -Must have a 'can do' attitude and make yourself available to support other staff when needed. No task too big or small.
- -Must have a basic understanding of sports, in particular basketball.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Bachelors or Masters in film production preferred but not required (UCLA and USC film school alumni in particular are encouraged to apply).
-Superior proficiency using the entire Adobe Suite.
-Film production experience.
