We are currently seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. This is a great entry level opportunity for the right candidate.
The Accounting Clerk is an important member of the finance team who primarily provides support to the Senior Billing Manager and Director of Finance in addition to assisting with accounts payable work as needed. The ideal candidate will have time management skills, highly organized and has attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities:
General accounts receivable and billing functions
•Prepare and submit customer invoices
•Email and mail copies of invoices
•Enter time entries, as needed
•Code and post cash receipts
•Bill report generation and distribution
•Respond to billing and payments inquiries
•Assist with collections
General accounts payable functions
•Assist with overflow accounts payable work
•Assist with responding to vendor payment inquires
•Scan invoice and payment images to finance system
General support functions
•Perform filing and general administrative tasks
Education and Experience
•High School Diploma or equivalent
•1+ years' relevant work experience
•Associate degree in business or accounting an advantage
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
•Knowledge of Great Plains and Aderant a plus
•Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures
