Senior Coordinator, Global Franchise Planning (Preschool/Partnerships) -Nickelodeon
Overview and Responsibilities
Overview:
The Franchise Planning team is responsible for managing the life cycle and investment needs for global Viacom priority properties and franchises targeting preschoolers (kids 2-5) and kids 6 , including but not limited to SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Jojo Siwa; and PAW Patrol, Bubble Guppies, Dora and Blue’s Clues; MTV and Paramount. The team develops long-range property plans (2-3 years) passionate about key strategies and tactics that will support generating exposure, growing engagement, driving consumer product sales and growing the overall strength of the franchise. Franchise Planning works with all departments within the Viacom ecosystem as well as external partners to drive execution of the franchise plans – including but not limited to Production, Consumer Products, Press, Programming, Creative, Talent, International, Consumer Marketing, etc.
This Sr. Coordinator, Global Franchise Planning role is a fantastic opportunity to work with beloved preschool IP, help develop long-range strategies, and support initiatives to ensure continued growth of these franchises. This is a global role where the Sr. Coordinator will assist in developing the franchise plans and strategies for all key territories.

The Senior Coordinator reports into Director, Global Franchise Planning on responsibilities including but not limited to:
• Supporting the development of multi-platform marketing plans and strategies, managing various campaign components and coordinating execution across multiple channels to drive brand awareness, TV & digital ratings, and consumer products sales.
• Assist with reviewing communications and coordinating information sharing across all departments.
• Work with team to review and approve internal and partner content and communications to ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
• Work across internal teams to create and maintain suite of franchise materials including business updates, planning calendars, timelines, and property decks.
• Help with the development of trade and consumer marketing materials, including sales decks, one-sheets, and sizzles.
• Provide support for meetings with both internal and external partners, including agendas/recaps, logistical support (book rooms, setup up, tech/catering) and securing needed materials (documents, product samples, room décor, etc).
• Work with team to arrange costume character appearances at marketing events and activations.
• Support Director and/or department head on special projects on an as-needed basis
• Perform on-going administrative support, including but not limited to:
• Submit purchase orders for marketing expenses
• Develop bi-weekly franchise newsletter
• Order and maintain product inventory
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree plus 1 years of marketing experience, preferably in the media, entertainment and/or kid space.
• Experience generating impactful PowerPoint presentations (story framing, slide design, animations/builds, etc). Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc) and InDesign/Photoshop experience also a plus
• Experience working within a television network or major consumer products company preferred.
• Background in content marketing, digital marketing, live events planning is a plus

• Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadline and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Extremely detail oriented and collaborative team player who excels at building relationships
• Solid organizational skills, excellent written and oral presentation skills, and ability to troubleshoot and provide successful resolutions
• Strong desire to work for a global brand and help drive innovation within Nickelodeon
