The Project Manager, Toy Design/Product Development will provide support for Nickelodeon property-based projects.
Responsibilities:
• Day-to-day production operations for Toy Design to support all assigned toy accounts
• Create, communicate and maintain project schedules and project status for assigned toy projects
• Work closely with Senior Director of Creative Operations to balance toy designers workload
• Collaborate with the Toy Design & Product Development Team in reviewing feedback for assigned projects
• Be key advisor to Senior Director of Creative Operations on the status of projects and what needs to be elevated to support IP to CP network Executive Directive
• Attend product line reviews. Responsible for collecting and distributing creative comments for assigned properties
• Route all rounds of creative for feedback to appropriate stakeholders on assigned properties and projects
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with other departments needing creative toy design and development, including Toy Business, Marketing, Branding, Show Production, etc
• Kickoff and assign external design agencies/freelancers upon submission of Creative Briefs
• Oversee, manage and disseminate reference acquisitions and Toy Assets to Toy Design & Product Development Team as well as Business Teams, Creative Strategy for collaboration with Toy Partners
• Lead internal department discussions, external design agencies and vendors, third parties and executives to deliver scope of potential project and establish good working relationship
• Organize and update server with all documents, creative, digital files and email communication for all projects
• Responsible for populating vendor contracts, processing invoices and timesheets for freelancers
• Recapture notes for allocated toy meetings
• Organize, schedule and facilitate the production of Maquette and Plush Guides for assigned properties
• Maintain and grow database of freelance vendors and resources
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors degree required
• Minimum 3 years in Project or Product Management
• Industry background in Television Production, Toy Company, Consumer Product or Creative/Marketing Service Agency
• Solid understanding of marketing and branding principles
