Project Manager, Illustration & Publishing
Global Creative Group, Viacom Nickelodeon Consumer Products
Reporting:
Position reports to Senior Project Manager of Illustration & Movies, Global Creative Group
Overview:
Manage all assigned off-air property-based projects for Consumer Products, Product Development, Retail and Consumer Marketing. Manage all Publishing Illustration Projects requested from the GCG Publishing Teams.
Responsibilities:
• Act as liaison between Creative Team, Business Team and outside design companies
• Receive assignment sheets from Business Team and ensure Creative Team understands goals
• Schedule and oversee kick off meetings with clients, stakeholders and Creative teams
• Create and maintain project schedule and budget approved by client
• Forward approved project estimates to clients, stakeholders and Finance Team
• Work with Show Production to obtain production elements for Creative Team
• Confirm team members have all elements needed for assigned projects
• Work closely with Nickelodeon/Viacom Art Directors and Creative Directors to ensure creative is Nickelodeon/Viacom quality
• Review all assigned creative before routing to stakeholders to confirm all business goals and comments are met
• Responsible for uploading and downloading files from/to the server for the agencies
• Route and upload each round of the project to all clients and stakeholders
• Ensure that feedback is received and compiled on time
• Negotiate and resolve any conflicts for projects (timing, budget, scope)
• Responsible for clear and concise communication throughout the lifecycle of the project, including: agendas, recaps, updates, approvals and meeting requests
• Oversee and confirm daily that the creative team meets project schedule deadlines
• Route final mechanicals to Illustration, Editorial, Legal, Standards, Production Management, Talent and Digital Asset Management (Library) teams
• Establish and maintain relationships with Production, Marketing, Legal, Standards, Talent, DAM and International teams to ensure approval process runs smoothly
• Maintain status report for all assigned projects
• Organize and update server with all documents, creative, digital files and emails for all projects
• Set up vendors and freelancers in our payment systems
• Populate contracts and timesheets for freelancers and vendors
• Process, track, and digitally file billing/invoices for all requests, code each request with appropriate cost center/project # and submit to Finance
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors degree, preferred
• Minimum of one year Project Coordination or Management experience
• Previous experience working as Creative liason with cross-functional teams in Publishing, Advertising/Marketing, Media, Design or Film industries
• Knowledge of Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), preferred
