Overview & Responsibilities:
Nickelodeon Preschool YouTube is seeking a dedicated and experienced Producer/Editor to join our team of kids content creators. Our team produces over 100 videos a month across six channels for over 30 million subscribers. As a Producer/Editor, you’ll be taking creative from inception to final delivery, working on multiple video projects at once, and managing complex schedules.
Responsibilities
include but are not limited to:
• Creating and pitching video concepts
• Writing scripts
• Creatively cutting footage (from existing shows and/or original shoots)
• Working with designers and animators
• Directing VO sessions
• Producing and directing shoots (virtual or in-person)
• Working with external vendors (production companies, mixers, composers, etc.)
Basic Qualifications:
• 5 years experience working in media.
• Interest and understanding of the preschool entertainment and YouTube landscape including appropriate pacing, humor, clarity, storytelling, age appropriateness, and design.
• Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere (including audio mixing), Photoshop (including designing characters, graphics, icons and more), and After Effects (working with templates, creating original graphics, light animation).

• Adobe Character Animator
• Shooting and lighting with DSLRs
• GarageBand/Logic/ProTools

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $75,000.00 - 90,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
