Overview:
The Manager, YouTube & Social Strategy will support our Director, Social Strategy at Paramount on the Kids and Family brands, primarily Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. You'll assist with social strategy and analytic efforts across international platforms and channels, focusing on building franchises within the social sphere, audience development and performance reporting. This is a data-driven role with a need for expertise in everything YouTube!
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with our Director of Social Strategy to implement strategies in line with priorities and objectives across international markets
• Combine data insights and creative opportunity to develop and test YouTube content in conjunction with the digital creative team
• Build, measure and lead organic YouTube campaigns and case studies
• Work with the Business Insights and Analytics team to build and implement content and channel level performance reporting
• Work with international markets, agencies, and platform to launch and maintain new YouTube channels
• Lead cross-platform programming efforts and calendars with a heavy emphasis on YouTube
• Project management of organic social components including linear and evergreen campaigns as well as tentpole events
• Help drive adoption of new practices and share knowledge across international markets
• Explore new opportunities and features within the landscape
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 4 years of experience within YouTube/social media
• Deep understanding of YouTube backend, algorithm, analytics and standards of practice
• Knowledge of YouTube channel optimization and monetization
• Ability to analyze and assess channel and performance, demonstrating know-how of the YouTube ecosystem and platform strategies and tactics
• Familiarity with social platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Reddit and TikTok
• Knowledge of other digital platforms and outlets such as podcasts
• Experience in crafting, implementing, monitoring and reporting on campaigns
