Full Time Job
This position will report to a Senior Director on the Retail Marketing team and focus on developing a full range of marketing programs to support Nickelodeon’s consumer products business at Walmart. In this role, the Marketing Manager will be the point person for their counterparts on the Sales Team and will have a hand in all aspects of bringing Retail Marketing programs to life. This person will work hand in hand with each level of the Retail Marketing and Sales Team touching ideation, asset development, project management, timelines, organization, and presentation development.
Responsibilities
• Contribute to all phases of marketing program development including ideation, planning and execution to drive consumer product sales at retail
• Support the Retail Sales team with marketing strategies, presentation materials and seamless execution of programs
• Partner with key stakeholders such as Franchise Planning, Retail Development, and Nickelodeon Creative Resources to guide the development of marketing campaign presentations for both short and long term plans
• Brief internal and external creative agencies on both strategic and tactical marketing elements, while managing creative timelines, providing feedback and submitting for approvals
• Support in the development and execution of events for retail that drive traffic to stores and increase awareness of Nickelodeon consumer products
• Maintain and update all marketing communications (i.e. retail calendars & one sheets) and make sure that all materials are distributed internally so that teams are well versed on initiatives
• Work with key retail contacts to ensure smooth submission and execution on all marketing requests at account level (i.e., signage, roll-out schedules, etc.)
• Support development of marketing assets (i.e. online banners, social media promotions, GWP’s) by working hand-in-hand with internal/external partners
• Support in the development of media and ancillary requests for his/her key account
• Assist with management of the Retail Marketing budget by ensuring that all charges are noted and invoices are submitted in a timely fashion
• Research and liaise with new technologies and innovative ways to help drive consumer engagement
Basic Qualifications
• 4 years experience in licensing, consumer products, marketing or related field
• Bachelor’s degree OR applicable progressive experience in retail, marketing, creative agency, licensing, consumer products fields may be considered in lieu of education
Additional Qualifications
• Working knowledge of entertainment industry, familiarity with animation, programming, and/or production processes.
• Creative team player with high energy and a passion for product, entertainment, and marketing
• An analytical mind; able to provide insightful conclusions and recommendations based on trend data and market research

• Excellent creative writing and grammatical skills; copy writing and review skills
• Keen eye for design
• Strong experience with PowerPoint, Excel, etc. Photoshop/Illustrator, if possible

• Excellent organizational skills and deadline management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentations

• Ability to develop strong working relationships with management and external resources. Strong knowledge of cross team collaboration
