Director, Talent Relations- Nickelodeon & Awesomeness

Overview & Responsibilities:
The Nickelodeon Kids & Family and Awesomeness Talent department is seeking a Director, Talent Relations to join their team! They will partner with the Vice President to implement and put into effect talent development strategies and long-term plans to elevate key Kids and Family & Awesomeness Talent.
Responsibilities
include but are not limited to:
• Oversee Kids & Family and Awesomeness talent in 360 deals, working cross-functionally to align Talent, Consumer Products & Music goals for the brand
• Partner with Talent representation to align our internal goals with their personal brand goals and partner with VP to complete all
• Manage requests from all lines of business including Marketing, Sales, Public Affairs, Consumer Products, Events, Unscripted, etc. and seek external opportunities for Talent
• Negotiate talent deals with agents and managers as needed for internal & external appearances
• Strategize with cross-functional teams on talent opportunities to help build and promote talent
• Responsible for maintaining talent's overall image true to the show and brand (photos, video, digital, etc.)
• Establish and develop strong relationships with talent, representatives, and the entertainment community for future projects
• Partner with VP, Talent to build talent strategies for each priority talent and partner with all lines of business to carry out strategy including EICs, Digital, Marketing, Public Relations, Public Affairs, Unscripted, Events, and additional Paramount Global partners
• Partner with Consumer Products, Retail, Partner & Franchise Marketing to implement Consumer Product needs and align with them on talent management daily
• Function as a talent liaison for internal lines of business, show productions, etc. to advise on talent interest and growth
• Partner with Music team on their Music and touring strategy and work hand in hand to execute against/align and support when necessary
• Partner with HR Production team on building and implementing processes to guide show productions and talent guardians on ways to create a healthy and productive working relationship
• Work with the Public Affairs team on Network approved charity organizations and events to align appropriate talent
• Work closely with Business and Legal Affairs on outside service request notifications and integrated marketing opportunities
• Actively engage Nick talent to build and elevate profile within their social media internally and externally
Basic Qualifications:
• 7 years experience in scripted talent relations at a studio, network, or production company
• Ability to travel when necessary to various locations (domestic/international) to support production and talent on overall creative needs
Additional Qualifications:
• Kids and YA talent relations experience
• Comfortable in multitasking and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Terrific problem solver - identify issues and work collaboratively with appropriate teams to implement creative solutions
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to develop and maintain positive and effective working relationships
