This is a Full Time Job
The Coordinator, Music & Talent supports the Sr. Director, Music & Talent and the Director, Music Booking on all music artist requests for Nickelodeon Networks.
• Coordinates logistics for internal and external music artist bookings and some Nickelodeon Stars including JoJo Siwa, for all Nickelodeon Networks, including tentpole events, festivals, pro-social initiatives, short form content, off-channel events and episodic series needs.
• Assists with music creation logistics for specific Nickelodeon Talent including song records, music videos, album releases and touring
• Develop relationships with music industry reps, as well as, Nickelodeon Music Talent, their reps, and show production in order to facilitate artist needs (i.e. America’s Most Musical Family, JoJo Siwa)
• Provides on-site Talent management and support for appearances and events
• Assists in the process of securing and managing artist bookings
• Facilitates logistics as it pertains to artist talent participation (glam, wardrobe, booking travel (air, hotel, ground), rider requests, work permits, visas, building schedules/itineraries, payment processing, etc.).
• Facilitates ticket and M&G requests for JoJo Siwa’s D.R.E.A.M. The Tour and any Nickelodeon Tours.
• Arranges songwriting and recording sessions for JoJo Siwa and other Talent
• Manages clip and photo approval process for artist talent including distributing social media promotional content to artist reps (series, events, special appearances, etc.).
• Schedules and books music artist meetings, maintain department trackers, and assist with writing pitch and offer letters for talent
• Coordinates Gifting for artist talent, including ordering, payment/processing, distribution, and tracking
• Researches and monitors music artists, including emerging artists, YouTube & social media stars to keep Director, Music Booking informed on latest projects.
• Attends music industry functions (concerts, showcases, album release parties, etc.) to cultivate artist relations.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• 3 years’ experience in Music, PR, Publicity or similar work environment
• 2 years’ experience in assistant/coordinator role with demonstrated growth
• Extensive knowledge of music/pop culture and ability to manage corporate environment
• Strong proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint, seasoned ability to create department decks & one-sheets
