Coordinator, Marketing & Media - Nickelodeon
Overview and Responsibilities
The Coordinator, Marketing and Media plays a key encouraging role on the Consumer Marketing team, with the primary objective of stewarding the execution of paid media campaigns. This role will support our Media Strategy and Content Marketing teams in development and execution of off-channel plans across multiple platforms. This person will be a constant hub of communication to and from our marketing team and external media agencies.
This role is a phenomenal opportunity for anyone excited to build their career working with and developing marketing campaigns for Nickelodeon’s most iconic brands, as well as research, explore and discuss the most exciting trends in media and marketing every day. This position reports into the Manager, Marketing and Media.
Responsibilities
• In coordination with the agencies and internal marketing team, assist with preparation, development and execution of marketing & media plans.
• Maintain media flowcharts and ensure all activity is tracked and accurately updated in a timely manner.
• Support Content Marketing managers in building and updating creative brief documents across all platforms.
• Ensure all deliverable specs are up to date and communicated to all parties.
• Partner with agencies in the development of campaign wrap-up reports, connecting results to KPIs, proofing, fact-checking, etc.
• Quarterly vendor exploration and competitive set analysis - broad of traditional, digital, social and emerging media platforms.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum 1-3 years work experience
• General knowledge of paid media and marketing platforms and concepts
• Ability to synthesize data to provide insights and marketing implications.
• Demonstrates active listening skills and ability to apply knowledge over time.
• Organizational skills a MUST for this role.
• Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, including both written & verbal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and escalate and propose solutions to issues as needed.
• Must be detail oriented.
Additional Qualifications
• Previous work within a media/marketing organization
• Familiarity with COPPA guidelines
• Previous experience marketing to children and parents
