Nickelodeon Location Based Experiences partners with best in class operators to develop high quality, innovative and unique live experiences, leveraging Nickelodeon brands and properties. These partnerships allow Nickelodeon to create big brand statements at high profile destinations around the world. The team’s core business segments are:
• Hotels and resorts
• Theme parks and water parks
• Live theatricals
• Exhibitions and 4D films
• Family entertainment centers
The coordinator serves as the main ‘hub’ for the Location Based Experiences department, interfacing with internal team members and external partners on a regular basis to accomplish the following tasks:
• Develop and manage global Location Based Experiences calendar capturing openings, expansions, marketing activities, shows, promotions, key meetings and events
• Route creative/marketing materials for internal review and approval
• Work with account directors and partners to develop and implement marketing and promotional programs
• Create annual program, marketing and promotional summaries for partners and internal teams
• Work with account director on the launch of new live tours
• Responsible for maintining the ancillary media inventory (digital, on-air, and social media) spreadsheet; Collect and deliver supporting content Maintain department share drive
• Track, inventory and manage merchandise sample submissions
• Respond to inquiries for Location Based Experiences creative assets, key facts, etc.
• Conduct industry research and provide regular reports on competition and industry updates
• Develop Location Based Experiences presentations and reels
• Ad hoc projects based on business requests and needs
• General day-to-day support of the Nick Location Based Experiences team including scheduling of meetings, preparing agendas, and taking and distributing meeting minutes
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree Required
• Relevant Leisure, Theme Park or Agency experience including educational background, internships or relatable work experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Conversant across all social media platforms
Additional Qualifications
• Must be very organized, detail oriented, work well under deadlines, personable and have great time-management and multi-tasking skills
• Spanish language skills a plus
