Summary:
The Design Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Art director with the overall visual development of the show. Someone in this role will communicate with and guide all artists on completing the following tasks: BG Design, Prod Design, FX Design, and general look dev for the show.
The Design Supervisor will work closely with the Line Producer and Production Manager to adhere to the production schedule, ensuring the team meets key milestones and deadlines for all visual development needs.
Responsibilities:
• Assist Art Director with developing the look of the film
• Handout Background Design assignments to the Vis Dev team
• Proactively communicate with Art Director and production team to anticipate and tackle potential problems
• Guide all BG Design artists on completing their work in a timely manner adhering to the design language of the show
• Translate and clarify the Art Director’s vision for the look of the film to the artistic crew
• Review assignments with Art Director for final approval
