This is a Full Time Job
The Job:
As the Social Content Designer for The CW, you will be a part of the social media marketing team and help elevate the creative across all of The CW's social platforms. The right candidate for this role focuses on details, loves being collaborative, demonstrates an ongoing sense of curiosity, is interested in both learning and teaching, is flexible as priorities change, has a diverse set of creative skills, is open to constructive feedback, can provide solutions, and jumps at the opportunity to take on new creative challenges. This person will report to the Head of Social, with potential duties assigned by SVP, Marketing.
The Daily:
• Work closely with the Social/Editorial Team and Head of Social to execute a variety of assets and content ideas across weekly content calendars for various CW shows, as well as our Brand channels
• Create a diverse range of static content, from lo-fi memes to more design-heavy sports graphics
• Create and refresh existing motion templates and graphics
• Pull and resize short form video to meet social specs
• Basic short form video editing
• Optimize creative across multiple social accounts to maintain Brand guidelines
The Essentials:
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, but not required
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience in a applicable creative role
• Experience in Entertainment Marketing is a plus
• Well-versed in using Adobe Creative Cloud suite (particularly Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere)
• Knows how to create and optimize content for digital and social spaces
• Very familiar with social media specs
• Highly organized with an attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Innovative, creative, resourceful, positive, proactive, solutions-oriented and accountable
• Ability to solve problems creatively and adapt to changing business needs
• Passionate about TV, movies, and/or sports

The Compensation:
• $75K - $80K /yr commensurate with experience and skill levels.
